Features of the DVI interface

DVI is Digital Visual Interface, which classifies two interfaces. One is DVI-D interface which only accepts digital signal and the 24 needles was pided into 3 ranks and 8 lines and one needle hole of the right of the interface is empty that don’t support the analog signal. The other is DVI-I interface which can support the analog signal outputted by VGA adaptor and digital signal, which includes most of graphics card, LCD, projector and so on.
Two kinds of DVI interfaces of graphics can not connect directly each other. If the play device is the DVI-D interface but the projector is the DVI-I interface, and in order to ensure the connecting effectively and add a DVI-D to DVI-I of adapter or patch cord is necessary.
