[CES 2015] Clips Tech Presents Voice-Alerting, Text-Reading Bluetooth Headset

Clips Tech(South Korea) exhibited its bluetooth headset, the NeckBand series, at CES 2015, which runs Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas.

The NeckBand series is outdoor-friendly headsets worn around the neck. A person can make and receive phone calls and enjoy various multi-media functions without inserting the earphones directly into his or her ears. While the earphones can be used, the product's built-in speakers give the freedom to make phone calls while biking, hiking, or driving by simply wearing the headset around the neck.

Apt-x Codec and the 20㎐~22㎑ transmission of audible frequencies yield crystal clear sounds, while the voice alert system, in cases of low battery or bluetooth pairing with the power, allows convenience. Moreover, the headset is almost weightless when placed around a person's neck as it only weighs 27g.

The battery lasts for a maximum standby time of 700 hours and 20 hours of continuous usage. Music can be played non-stop for up to 18 hours. The bluetooth connection range is about 10 meters, and the headset vibrates when out of range, thus preventing misplacement of the connected mobile phone.
