1. What is open ear design?

Open ear headphones rest outside the ear canal, using ear hooks or clips instead of sealing the ear. This allows ambient sounds (e.g., traffic, conversations) to mix with audio, maintaining environmental awareness.


2. What are the main benefits?

Safety: Hear surroundings during activities like running or cycling.

Comfort: No ear canal pressure, reducing fatigue for long wear (e.g., work or travel).

Hygiene: Prevents ear infections by avoiding moisture buildup in the ear canal.


3. Are there drawbacks?

Sound leakage: Audio may be audible to others nearby, though modern models use anti-leak tech (e.g., directional speakers) to minimize this.

Bass limitations: Low frequencies are less pronounced than in sealed earbuds.

Noise interference: Unsuitable for very noisy environments (e.g., construction sites).
